Hi Everyone,

We haven't used the JKI chat room much, but the JKI staff has seen an increasing number of people try to "catch" someone in the chat room. Unfortunately, until our traffic increases this might be difficult.

I'm going to try to help out by stationing myself in the chat room on Monday evenings starting at 4 pm PT/ 7 pm ET. If you want to chat about Jericho, or if you have questions about the JKI website or Jericho Kansas Inc. please come by and chat with me.

Please remember that if I get busy elsewhere it may take a few mintues for me to notice you, and the chat room will log me out every so often if I don't pay attention. Please stay in the chat room and start typing (the annoying beep when the message comes through will get my attention).

I hope to see you next Monday in the JKI chat room.

Monday (1/21) is a Holiday????

When Gwen pulls out her datebook, she realizes it is Martin Luther King Day. No, the holiday will not deter me from sitting in the chat room, hoping for a bit of company.

On the other hand, I might be a bit slow with my responses, since Monday morning I have a balance test in which I will be subjected to watching lights in motion, having my head and body put into different positions, and having warm and cold air blown into my ears. I'm sure I will have both an earache and a headache after the 1.5 hour test!

Yes, I will be in the chat room on Monday 1/21 starting at 4 pm PT/ 7 pm ET regardless of earache or headache.

Gwen, who does not have simply medical problems and averages 6 doctors including at least one specialist before anything is diagnosed

I was wondering about the chat room and if there were any scheduled chats. This is good to hear. If I remember, I will try to stop in and say hello. Thank you.

Hi ratkeeper:  I was there in Chat Room just now at 8pm est.......do I have the wrong time?   4pm pst = 8pm est?  or is it 9pm est?

Hi alphaWolf,

I was logged in twice and I was entering articles and that made me disappear from the chat room. After I type this, I'm going back in, so stop on by.

Go up to the community menu and and click on chat. The room should be labeled lobby. Sometimes if the system has logged me out it may take a few minutes to get back in.

Thanks to jerichomonster for chatting with me, and proving that the chat room works. 

Wolfie, I'm sorry we missed each other.

I learned several things:

*If I've got two windows of JKI open it logs me out of the chat room.

*When I'm logged in and typing the user locations don't update, unless I refresh and then I loose the conversation. This will make it a bit difficult to know if someone else is going in and out of the chatroom.

*You won't show up to the people in the chat room unless you type something, so never assume it's empty. Type Hello? several times before giving up.

*I think the chat room is a little like hide and seek. Most of the time I will be hidden and you need to type some text to find me.

If anyone has another night/time they would prefer for the chat please let me know. We still need to test the chat with several people.

Ratkeeper:  This is a good time to have it as long as one wolf understands that 7pm est is 4pm pst.  hahaha......my bad!     Thank you for all the tips and will the next chat be next Monday?    The hide and seek effect is part of your rat cute nature, correct?  haha

You should schedule a chat after each of the new episodes (season2) and try and predict the plot lines etc.
just found out the DVD isn't released in the UK until March 17th!! although there are some region 1 versions floating around on ebayso i may treat myself.

Yes, Wolfie, the hide and seek effect of the chat room is part of the cute rat nature.

Cute rats, are not so cute when you get woken up by one of them chewing on the leg of the dresser. I had to lure my escapee back to her cage area with a snack. My guard dog slept through the whole incident.



Chat room: next monday (1/28) at 7pm ET/4 pm PT. I will make a quick post here that I am in the chat room.

So your little one was chewing on dresser?   hahah.  And the guard dog just watched?   That is too funny.   I still have my dresser that was chewed by my dear beloved German Shephard some 30 years ago.......it remains a treasured piece of furniture.     So, I will mark my calendar for CHAT Monday, 1/28 at 7pm EST .............will do!

Hi Alphawolf,

Well this dresser was part of my grandmother's mahgony set and I didn't appreciate the chew marks! The guard dog, who barks so much SLEPT through all the noise.

Yes, chat on Monday (1/28), as long as I don't relapse.

I will post here before I head over to the chat.

 GULP!  Mahogany?  Oh....Boy!   Your Grandmother's?   Double Oh......Boy!   Why......that little rat!!!  hahaha.....seriously, though.....not good.  However, it can be repaired with some of that wood glue & wood repair stuff.....I can't think of the name of it........

Yes, I will be in the chat room at 7pm Eastern Time/ 4 pm Pacific Time.

When you enter the chat room please type something, or else I don't see anyone is there.

In other words, ratkeeper is hiding just like her rat (who got under the desk last night and I had to lure her out with a snack).

Please type when you enter the chat room, since you actually need to enter the module to show up in the chat room.
