I was intrigued by the storyline from the first article I read about Jericho. I've always like stories that are about rebuilding a community.

I loved the mystery built into the storyline.

I liked how the writers balanced the action plots with the subplots of the various townsfolk. You need to care about the townsfolk in order to stay tuned into the show, and the writers/actors made me care about these people.

Why do you watch?

The main reason that I started to watch Jericho is because of the "It could really happen" type of storyline. I enjoy seeing stories of what could be real and it sparks thoughts in my mind about how I would survive if something like that happened to me.

The reason I continued to watch, is a bit of the above, coupled with the characters. I started to feel like I knew the characters and wanted to see their stories' played out. They are like extended family, and some of them even remind me of real people in my life, which leads back to the "It could really happen" and how I, and those around me, would survive.

I started watching because the premise sounded intriguing. Little did I know how much I would come to love the show. What I like the most about the show is that the characters are so well-developed. You don't see good character development in a lot of shows, so it was refreshing to have "real" people you can relate to. Of course, the story is also well-written and each episode always leaves me wanting more. That's never a bad thing!

I have to agree, just like the funny lines between Kirk, McCoy and Spock drew me back to Star Trek; the funny lines that Stanley says draws me back to Jericho.

It's a great show!!
When i first saw the adverts and read a guide to the series i was intrigued, but have had to wait a while until it finally aired here in the UK. I love the storylines and character interplay, a good balance of action, mystery, humour and family drama.
And a fantastic cast!

Well when I first saw Jericho I was lucky enough to get a hold of the pilot before the season began. I had no clue what this show would be about. I put it in my dvd player and pressed play and I was pretty much into it with in the first few minutes. When I found out that it had been picked up by CBS I was so excited. I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. The story just seemed like something that could be a possibility. I liked the fact that we had no real idea of what was going on. After each episode I couldn't wait to see the next. Oh and the other thing is I am an avid TV watcher. Especially with shows that are good.

Hello, everyone! I watch Jericho for a couple reasons.
One, I love the idea of a small town banding together and holding fast in the face of a massive disaster. It's one of those things where you wonder how you would handle that kind of situation. I love to see who rises to the top and becomes a leader, like Dale or Jake's characters.
Two, the characters are very interesting and real! They are, in a way, the true American heroes. This is one of those shows that makes you want to go out and be a hero! In a day and age where everything we want is at our fingertips, we're drawn to a world where they have to work for everything, and where either the best, or the worst comes out in people. I think it's an awesome show and I'm excited to be apart of bringing it back!

Welcome to JKI Jesse.

Those are great reasons for watching Jericho.

I love the characters and the mystery of the series.

Thanks for sending me the address to your MySpace page, I put it in our links section (under Hawkins Notes on the top menu).
