While I love Johnny Depp as Captain Jack, I was kind of hoping they would let the "Pirates" franchise rest. The first one was great, the second one was pretty good, but that last installment just was too long and tried to go in too many directions (IMHO). But I think he'll be really good in "The Lone Ranger" and "Alice in Wonderland" and I'm looking forward to seeing those two.
