From chat with Executive Producer Dan Shotz on September 7, 2007 About the cast, everyone who is alive will be back. You will feel Johnston throughout the new season - he is will always be the moral center of the show - in life and death. Jake is the new leader - in a Jake way. We will find out more about Jake’s back story and Hawkins’ back story. We will learn more about the country, the world - Hawkins will be our entry into that. Hawkins will have some serious issues this season - he may need his friend Jake to help. Dale will get into some trouble. The army will play a huge role – I don’t want to give too much away though. Jericho does get power back. Jimmy will not be sheriff. I will be in an episode - episode 2.
