Hey all - I'm Natalie, and I also wanted to welcome everyone to the new Jericho Kansas website. It looks like a pretty neat place! I live in the beautiful Twin Cities area in Minnesota, although it's getting to be my least favorite time of year with winter coming on. I'm originally from San Diego, California and really miss those nice, mild winters (okay, so there really isn't a winter there!). I have three cats and in my spare time when I'm not doing things related to Jericho, I love to go to movies, make jewelry and hang out with my friends.

Hi Selini, My mom lives in San Diego! They haven't had much rain this year, but in the Bay Area (where I live) we've already had a couple of big storms. One of my sisters moved to near Boston this summer, she said it was quite a culture shock. Gwen

Hi Natalie! Let us know when it the snow starts staying on the ground. Odd question that I don’t know the answer to. Do cats go out into the snow, or do they avoid it? Sean

Hi Natatlie. It is great to see you here. I don't know about your cats, but mine love the snow. They take off running and leap into the spots where the snow is piled up. Very strange, but quite entertaining.

Entertaining yes, but it does cause me to question their sanity at times. They also have strange sleeping habits, one takes the bathroom sink and the other sleeps in the tub.

Excellent Gwen! Seems that there are many of us with pets, and we all know that our pets tend to be our children in many ways. Sorry to have hijacked your introduction thread Natalie. Perhaps our admin can move some of the pet posts to the new sub forum?

Hey everyone - yes, cats do go out in the snow, as Susan has said. Mine, however, don't since they are indoor-only cats.

And yes, I do post occasionally on the CBS board, although I'm more of a lurker since I do a lot of reading while I'm at work. Unfortunately, company rules prohibit me from posting to message boards, blogs, etc. from company computers.
