Dear Jericho Rangers:

 

As you probably know, the writers' union has gone on strike against the studios and now your favorite TV shows, including JERICHO, are in jeopardy.  

 

But what you may not know, is the truth behind it all.

 

Last summer, the Jericho Rangers ran one of the most successful grassroots campaigns in history.  With that in mind, we would be so grateful if you could post the following link wherever you can:

This video, appropriately entitled WHY WE FIGHT, is a very accurate and fair description of why the writers are striking. 

 

If after you've watched this video, you would like to make a difference, please let the studios and networks know that you support the writers in their fight for a fair contract in order to get your shows back on the air.  The writers also ask that you do not purchase and download TV shows and/or watch the TV shows that are streamed online by their networks until this strike is resolved.

The "Cheap Skates" charm is 99 cents. If you want to include a gift note/box that is $4.95.  Total order (with sales tax) is $6.43.

The JJ Kent company takes Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

This campaign is being organized by The Fan Union.

Hey Friends,

We have gotten some great input from the board today that has allowed us to come up with a new and improved way to support the striking writers, especially our Jericho writers!

1.  We are going to send 5 cases of water to the picket line as a gesture of our support to the writers, cast and crew "walking the line".

2.  We are going to send Cheap Skates Charms to the AMPTP.  These can be purchased 50 at a time, with a card included.
     

3.  We can purchase 8 boxes of pencils, 12 pencils to a box for $5.00, also to be sent to  the AMPTP.
     

We already know that the AMPTP is donating the charms to nursing homes as gifts to the residents.

The pencils can be donated to the school system, now that's a great way to donate to a worthy cause!

Thank you for your support, we need these writers!  I know we all want MORE JERICHO!

Please specify where you want your money to go in comments when donating!  WATER, CHARMS, PENCILS, OR DON'T CARE.

Ahma and Mikesmom are spearheading the group effort to send boxes of pencils to Les Moonves to let him know we are still here and that we want him to get back to the bargaining table ASAP.

The pencils are being ordered in bulk and are recycleable..

Order some NOW and send them to Les Moonves with the address on that blog or head over to Ahma's thread on the CBS board for the fan campaign for the writers and contribute via paypal today..

I checked out Shaun's link and United Hollywood is ordering the pencils in bulk and shipping them. They are using one vendor who has environmentally sensitive pencils that are available for $1 a box (12 pencils).

They need to end this strike. People like my sister are paying for it and they will not gain anything from it!! PAs and other support staff are getting screwed by this strike big time!!!
