Chatroom questions:

How do I know if someone else is online because I may want to ask them to chat?

When we post, what time is recorded on the post, our local time? If I post at 9am Eastern time, is that an hour later for those posting on central time? Tried to hook up with Cat last week, but she is an hour behind me. Does that matter?

Hi Renee,

When you register you set your time to what you want. My time is pacific, so all the entries I see are on Pacific time.

Each person will see a diferent time.

We don't have a who is on-line now, since it seemed to slow down the reloading time.

You can send a PM to the poster and ask about chating. If you click "members" (in small letters under the blue bar) you can select a person's posting name and open their profille. There is a send message option under their profile.

We could also set a day/time of when we will all try to make it to the chat room.

It is very hard to catch someone in the chat room, even when you can see where they are on the board. You will play chase around the board a lot because the information is just a little bit behind where you actually are.
