Operation Comic Book

Purchase the Jericho Comic Book:

You can purchase the six issue comic two ways:

1. Direct order from the publisher, Devil's Due Publishing: https://store.devilsdue.net/index.php?cPath=298

2. Purchase from your local comic shop. Just call up your local shop and ask them to pre-order the Jericho comic. They will take down your information and call you once it comes in.

Comic book Store locator by state: http://www.the-master-list.com/index.shtml

Note: There are six issues and each issue will have two covers (one a photo and one a drawing). The first issue also has a special preview cover (no additional content just a different cover). Each of the additional five issues will have two covers.

For those who can afford to purchase more than one copy, please leave copies at the local comic book store, local library or your doctors/dentist office, anywhere people congregate and tend to read.

Comics for the Troops, Mike's Mom, Scoobud, Kay T and kids will be working on the Comics for the Troops campaign where people can purchase comic books in bulk to send to the troops via Operation Homefront, which is similar to the DVD for the Troops Program from 2 years ago.

Promote the Jericho comic book:

We are looking for ways to promote the comic book without asking Rangers to spend a lot of money. these are things everyone can do:

1. Tell your family, friends and co-workers about the Jericho 3rd season comic and the effort to bring Jericho to the big screen.
2. Put the information in your e-mail signature and/or forum signatures.
3. Spend some time on a social media site (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or LiveJournal) spreading the word about Jericho.
4. Search out areas of interest that may have Jericho fans and give them the information (survival, post-apocalyptic, sci fi, are just a few areas to look into). Look for in-person and on-line groups.
5. You can also post in online community boards (schools, newspapers, TV stations sometimes have boards).

Suggested Wording:
Jericho comic from Devil's Due Publishing is available now - Order now from Devil's Due Publishing: https://store.devilsdue.net/index.php?cPath=298  A Jericho movie is in development. Check at SavingJericho for the latest information. (Feel free to embellish or use your own wording.)

Postcards and Posters:
There are now posters and postcards up on the SavingJericho website. You can download them from there or use the internet print shop (see instructions on site). Find bulletin boards in your community and post the promotional comic poster. Leave postcards on the counter in comic shops and other stores (please ask first).

Local Cons

We need rangers to volunteer to attend Comic or Sci Fi Cons to promote Jericho. Currently we are looking for volunteers to help at these Jericho Fan Tables:

San Francisco, CA - Apr 2-4, 2010

Denver, CO - April 14-16, 2010

Spokane, WA - May 22, 2010

Contact Gwen at gwen@jericho-kansas.org if you can volunteer. If your area is not on this list, then contact us and tell us where you are and we will try to find something near you.

Letters

Our letter writing is still very important - it shows that there still is interest in Jericho. Send letters/e-mails/faxs or feedback to:

CBS Television Studios, thanking them for producing Jericho and making a business argument to continue to produce Jericho:

Ms. Nancy Tellem

Senior Advisor to the CEO for CBS

4024 Radford Avenue

Studio City, CA 91604

Epix:
Mr. Mark Greenberg, President and CEO
Epix, a Viacom Company
1515 Broadway
New York, New York 10036
superfan@epixhd.com

Epix is a new cable channel, which launched in October 2009. Paramount  is a partner in this new channel, and this new channel will have original series, some of them will come from CBS Television Studios. Please write to Mark Greenberg and urge him to put Jericho on the list of original series for epix.
If you want to learn more about epix, then here is The Telegraph's article archive.

One of the fans that wrote to epix got an e-mail back that said Jericho was on the list to investigate. The e-mail explaned how difficult bringing back a show could be, so it's not a done deal. Please e-mail and write Epix since they are showing interest in bringing back Jericho.
