My dog is a dachsund mix. He was rescued from the local wally world parking lot. The person we got him from said their papered female dachsund was a bad girl in the neighborhood. Since they didn't know the father of the pups they were giving them away.  We have had him for over seven years now and  love him very much!

Homer looks just like the dog I had in high school. She was a doxie-terrier mix and her name was Ginger. She had the same souful eyes Homer does.

Although she was a family dog, she was considered mine because she bonded with me. I was the only one who could keep her from getting carsick and the only one she would allow to take a bone away from her.

It's been a long time since I thought of her, so thank you for these memories.

Gwen
