I'm hoping that Johnston's death was faked so he could work undercover with Hawkins..... wishful thinking?

I think the best we could hope for would be a twin brother in Texas to work with Jake and Hawkins!

OOOOHHHH, YES!! A long lost twin brother! How cool would that be? Now we just need Bonnie to be a twin too... :)

What a fantastic idea!

In the collector's preview Johnston and Gail are both on the list of characters and there is a photo of both Gerald McRaney and Pamela Reed.

Wow, that's interesting! Do you think that maybe the twin was the one who died and not Johnston?

I think Gail hit Johnston over the head with Mud62's frying pan, and while he was unconcious his twin went to the battlefield.

Gail wasn't in the 2nd season much since she was with Johnston, in an undisclosed location.

If this wild story is true, then maybe we will see Johnston again!

Johnston was such a vital part of the show, that would be great if they figured something out how to bring him back.

I totally agree that Johnston needs to continue in the story. I hope they did have something up their sleeve for a return. Did he have another show or movie when they killed him off?

I'm not sure, he's such a great actor, it wouldn't surprise me if he had someting else lined up.

I hope you're right though and they had something up their sleeves.

Gerald McRaney was doing a play "Divding the Estate" and has one movie in production  "Red Tails".

As for hope they will bring Johnston back, Gerald McRaney was at the Welcome Home to Jericho event and has his photo in the cast list of the comic ashcan.

I think there's some hope and I have confidence that our writers will be able to think of a way to do it.

Honestly, I don't know anything, but I have observed a lot:

At WonderCon (last February) I saw the whole panel room errupt in applause when Karim confirmed the movie announcement.

Getting 14 actors/actresses to align their schedules and come to the Welcome Home to Jericho event.

Richardt Speight Jr who, at his benefit in San Francisco, seemed a but too interested that we were going to have a fan table at Comic Com

Directors and writers so happy at Comic Con that they were almost dancing in the halls.

All those things and more have made me confident that we will get Jericho back as a movie or on TV.

Lol, I was thinnking more about 'Johnston' being resurrected.

I'm in total agreement with you on the movie, why announce something to such a rabid fan base if there wasn't some truth to it? :)

Well, regarding 'Johnston' being resurrected - again I don't know anything, but at Comic Con we were all shocked to see his photo in the comic.

I do know that the first issue is larger than most comics because they had so much backstory to tell. That maybe why a majority of the cast was listed in the comic preview.

Really? I know I should know this because I think I read it already, but how many pages does the first comic have?

How many pages do 'regular' comics have?

What I heard at Comic Con is we got 6 extra pages, so we went from 26 to 32.

There are larger comics at Devil's Due, so I imagine the page length and the cost were set by the contract CBS Consumer Products has with Devil's Due. That's probably why the page increase needed approval, since it exceeded the contract.

This is good, there's a lot of story to be told in 32 pages.

Maybe they're planning on having Jake talk to his father in a "Dream" like they had him talk to his grandfather in the episode Sedition
