Cake and Balloons to Nancy Tellem Campaign Started by rhysewf and slking. Cake and Balloons to be delivered to CBS Paramount on Thursday June 12th. Cake Vendor: Regal Cakes Cake would be 16 by 12, on the cake,right upper corner, billboard pic, left upper corner DVD for the troops pic, lower left corner TV with the words TV ad inside lower right. Big peanut standing up\ lower left, clm`s squirrel standing up in 3d holding the don't tread on me flag. On the front of the cake it will say lets make history. Balloon Vendor: Balloon Celebrations Balloon bouquet to be delivered with the cake. Design to be determined. Cake vendor will take the cake to Balloon Celebrations and they will deliver the cake and balloons to Nancy Tellem at CBS Paramount. They will take PHOTOS! Cost: Cake -$590 (including delivery) Balloons - $175 (including delivery) Total needed $765 (that's only $8 each if 100 people donate) If you want to contribute: Paypal link

Due to the donations going slower than expected, the balloons will go this week and the cake will follow next week. Here is the choosen design for the balloon arrangement: The card is going to read "Save Jericho Again" If you like this idea please donate now! Gwen

Update from rhysewf: We have $405 in donations, not enough to even order the cake on faith, we just do not have enough to go ahead and order. Slking and I have come up with a sort of solution and we need feedback today. We propose to order $200 worth of the gold and silver balloons, that is a huge bouquet, Add A beautifly boxed Chocolate selection, cost $30 Add a huge Chocolate Mousse cake(can be seen on the balloon site(its gorgeous) $45 The two cards will say, Save Jericho again and How does it feel to make History. Total cost=$275 plus delivery=305, then if any taxes include that. To all concerned, We can always order the cake another time, like when we get Jericho back, but for now we are saying stop donating . We also propose any money left over be donated to Peanut Butter for food banks and dvd`s for the troops. What do you all say?

Latest Update from slking12: I just gave my credit card info to the balloon people and they said the delivery will be tomorrow. They are going to email pictures of the cake and candy this afternoon and then they'll email pictures of the delivery tomorrow. I told them to ask for Charles when they got to Nancy's office. I explained all we've done to save our show so they understand the seriousness of the situation and they promised to make it special. I'll post the pictures as soon as I get them and I'll have the final total at that time too. Sherry

Hi everyone!

I just got off the phone with Nancy's office - Charles had stepped out for a minute, but I spoke to Nancy's personal assistant Theresa.

Theresa says that Nancy and the rest of the office were very surprised (but happy!) to get the balloons and cake. She says they BARELY fit in the door they were so large, and Nancy was very excited and kept saying "who are they from? who are they from??"...

Theresa says to tell everyone thank you very, very much from all of them, and that they appreciate everyone's hardwork and efforts on Jericho's behalf...

(She was a very nice lady!!)

Nancy must be nice too to have such great people wililng to work for her...

It's too bad they couldn't get a photo of Nancy and her staff with the balloons and other goodies. I sure would have loved to see their faces when everything was delivered!

From the Jeritopia chat on 6/28. Dan Shotz: Here's something I can share: NANCY TELLEM - walked into her office and there were so many balloons in her office. She thought it was from her husband, then she read the card. It was from the fans of Jericho. She loved it. She was so moved by it. The CBS Paramount gang really love this show and are trying.
