While rewatching Jericho on The CW, I have come to the conclusion that Emily would not have been happy with Roger. I think Emily liked and admired Roger, but she was not in love with him. That became very apparent when Jake returned.

I beleive that you are right, how could she stay when Roger was forced to leave? I would have left with him if I truly loved him.
