Best of Television - Canceled

Posted by Alan Smith.

Source: QuOMPS.

Post found by K6FEJ.

I probably could have done a top 20 list for this one but I think these are the best shows that weren't given their proper due. My criteria for making this list was almost exclusively that the series aired for less than three seasons. Something of note is that six of these shows were on FOX. Could there be a trend?

Note: Jericho is number 3!

Jericho the Movie 2010

Posted by m8trix.

Source: Scifiology.

Blog found by K6FEJ.

Since this is a as in development stage as IMBD page for Jericho has posted there is not much to report but yes it is coming and I am so glad to hear that. I was one of those fans that kept writing in when they were going to cancel the show and like many grumbled at series finally because it seemed a little rushed together. Jericho may have not been one of those wow you with the effects sci fi but it had a great post apocalyptic story plot of a town that survived a devastating Nuclear assault on the US ( Done by some factions in the US )and the story how they rallied to survive and eventually bring to light the injustice of the leadership that caused the holocaust. You can watch full episodes of the series on CBS.coms Jericho Video Season 1 and 2.

Note: No new news, but a summary of what has been released.

DDP Reviews: Jericho Season 3: Civil War #1

Posted by Infinite Speech.

Source: Comic Attack.

“Season 3:  Civil War”: Jericho was originally a television series which aired on CBS, but due to low ratings it was canceled after its first season.  However, fan outcry was loud and after a campaign which included sending CBS studios over 20 tons of nuts (in reference to a line in the show),  it was brought back for a 2nd season which added 7 more episodes.  After the season 2 finale fans were still left without a definitive conclusion as to what was going to happen to their favorite characters, and now thanks to Devil’s Due Publishing we’re going to get it!

I maintain that there is some trouble for Netflix and Redbox in the recent announcing and forming of the Epix movie channel, because it represents a serious possible problem to rental outlets.
