I belong to a survey group for Nielsen. In the last month, they have sent 14 surveys about new shows this season. Well, today's survey had an interesting series of questions.
They asked if I had heard about a show that was canceled and which was renewed after fans fought back. DUH!! And, if I knew the show's name . . . Well, after a few more questions, I got this :
"Please indicate which of the following programs you would be most likely to watch on Sunday evenings at 8PM (7PM Pacific and Mountain Time).
A. Life Is Wild on the CW
B. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on ABC
C. Jericho on CBS
D. The Simpsons and King of the Hill on Fox
E. NFL Football on NBC
F. Something else
G. I will not watch TV at that time"
I know CBS uses data through these surveys, because I was recruited to take these surveys at a testing location solely for CBS. So, it looks like they're testing to see if Sundays at 7/8 PM will work.
So, Jericho fans . . . would this be a good time?
If this is the case, I could see this being a good time. I don't know anything about Life is Wild. It seems like some Jericho fans would be the same ones who would watch Extreme Makeover. I can't see Simpson/King of the Hill or Football interfering. Am I wrong though? Perhaps I'm not totally in touch with the Jericho demographic. I would just like to see it not interfere with Desperate Housewives (though I think that show is losing viewers with each year).
