Administrators of Jericho websites/forums/blogs and the volunteer re-posters - please post this message on your website/forum/blog and thank you for your services.
If you wish to submit an announcement to this service, please e-mail the announcement to Ichthus at jerichotownhall@gmail.com or ichthusrep@sbcglobal.net by 8 p.m. ET on Friday. The announcements will be sent out by Gwen near midnight (PT) on Friday. There will be a midweek update on Tuesday night (same deadlines), if there is more information to send out.
Anyone who wants to subscribe to this service should e-mail gwen@jericho-kansas.org or subscribejebs@jericho-kansas.org and say subscribe JEBS in the message. You will get an acknowledgment after you've been added.

Operation Comic Book Update

Hello Fellow Rangers
First I, like millions of Americans, want to take this time to pay respect to those who lost their lives on 9/11/01 and pray for all the families and friends left behind. May we never forget that day and what it cost us.
The Rangers from all over the country and Canada will be descending on Baltimore one week from tonight, we hope it will be a fun weekend and one where friendships are renewed and new ones begin.
October is the launch date for the Jericho comic book. We need everyone to start the final push to get people to go out and buy the comic.
Operation Comic Book. Devils Due Publishing http://devilsdue.squarespace.com/ has created a web-page just for the Jericho Comic. http://jerichocomic.squarespace.com/. This is a great place to welcome old and new rangers into the community.
Posters: we are looking for people to put up copies on the Community Bulletin Boards at grocery stores, schools, libraries, bookstores, colleges and anywhere else you can tack a poster up where people will see them. To download the posters, postcards, and comment cards or go to http://www.savingjericho.com/ If you wish to print in bulk, we are using an internet print shop called Vista Print. See instructions below for the FREE poster and postcards promotion that is good until Monday, September 14th.
This long Marathon is heading towards the finish line. Everything points to something good happening in October. There are hints of a new ARG and DDP is working with us on advertising and promoting the comic book. I know 18 months has come and gone since the 2nd cancellation but I truly believe that the movie and maybe even something better is just over the next hill.

Dragon Con
Thank you to the rangers who attended Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA and promoted Jericho: Pete, Larissa and the Future Traditions Podcast Crew, and Chris and Jay, who were dressed as a Ravenswood Unit (see attached photo)
Pete reported that "We handed some of the Jericho business cards out, put some on the free tables, and put most of them on the tables at the Hyatt regency, in the place where everyone congregates. They moved well enough and most of them were gone by Sunday evening. We had some positive reaction and a few that were very enthusiastic."
