Operation Phoenix/Comic Book Update

October 17, 2010

Hello Fellow Rangers

We have heard back from Dan Shotz. I sent him a reply email to tell him that without a firm date I did not think many of the fans would get exited. Gwen and I both emailed him and let him know we need a firm date of the comic release and if DDP is in or out. The release below from Dan states that a new deal has been worked out in principal with a new distributor.

Both Gwen and I are optimistic that the elusive CBS release will finally forthcoming in the near future. I for one, am willing to wait a little while longer. As we are dealing with CBS and several of its' divisions, we are dealing with multiple Divisions Vice Presidents and worse than that lawyers from each division including CBS Consumer Products.

From what we know there may be a new release of Issues # 1-3 in a booklet format in addition to Issues 4-6. They are shooting to have the Novel out by Early Spring 2011.

Keep the Faith

From Dan Shotz, Executive Producer of Jericho:

I am happy to share some great news! We have found a new home for the Jericho Comic Book Series. CBS Consumer Products, who is responsible for licensing Jericho, is very close to completing a new deal to continue publication of the Comic Book Series. We are very excited about these upcoming plans. Details to follow soon.
