In-Person Events
Post-Apocalyptic Adventure - May 21st
Join us for a field trip and discussion on what happens when the water is turned off. Our field trip is to visit East Brother Island, which has a cistern built in the 1800's, which supplies all of their non-potable water.
We will be meeting at 10 a.m. at 2505 Edwards Ave., El Cerrito, CA. We will carpool over to San Pablo Yacht Harbor and leave for the island at 11:15 am.
On the journey to the harbor, we pass through a deserted naval base, with boarded up houses and a wonderful old brick building (that used to be a winery). Then we will go over a dirt road to the harbor where we will meet the boat. Note: This area is slated for development in 2012, so this wonderful post-apocalyptic area will disappear.
Warning: Accessing the island requires the physical stamina and strength to climb from a bobbing boat up a vertical ladder 4 to 12 feet in height, depending on the tides.
Cost for the field trip is $20 and includes the boat transportation and a guided tour of the island. We will be taking a picnic lunch with us.Dress appropriately to the bay weather and wear enclosed shoes. Binoculars and cameras are encouraged.
We will return from the trip around 3:30 pm and our evening BBQ will start at 5pm. We will also have a discussion on modern methods for water storage and reclamation.
Please contact Gwen at gwen@az-technology.com or at 510-695-3668 to make reservations for the trip. Space is limited and MUST be reserved in advance.
Comic Con International - July 21 - 24, 2011

There will be a Jericho Fan Tale at Comic Con.
Comic Con 2011 is Sold Out. Check back in June for available tickets after refund requests get processed.
Operation Phoenix Airsoft Charity Event - July 29-31st, 2011
http://www.sg-operations.com/Op-Phoenix.htm
A Jericho themed charity airsoft event in North Carolina. Come join us and participate in the continuing battle between Jericho and the Allied States.
Besides the huge turn out of airsoft players, there is also increased demand for volunteers to play some of the civilian town people and shop keepers (roleplayers). Best of all, roleplayers ALWAYS get to attend for free!
ECRG 2011 - September 9-11, 2011
The East Coast Ranger Gathering (ECRG) is slated for September 9-11, 2011 in Baltimore, MD. This will be the third annual gathering of Rangers and the 2nd time in Baltimore.
The ECRG is just that, a gathering of Jericho Fans who are getting together for a social event to talk about Jericho, the comic and speculate about the eventual release of the feature film. It is not a convention or con and has never been intended for that purpose. We will not be looking for active participation from anyone who worked on the series. In time, the event may grow into something other than a social event but for now it is meant to be purely an event where people can meet, explore the location and have a good time.
