Happy Holidays

Rangers,

I hope that you all enjoy the upcoming holiday season. During this time, it is extremely important that we continue to show Netflix that Jericho still has an audience, so please keep contacting Netflix on a weekly basis.

I've heard some ask if Jericho still has a chance of returning - my answer is Yes! Neither Netflix or CBS has announced that the deal for Jericho is dead. In the past, Netflix has announced when they are no longer interested in a show (like Fast Forward and The River).

I think it is important to take note of how much Jericho has influenced the post-apocalyptic media. The Walking Dead, Falling Skies, and Revolution are on TV because of Jericho. There are three more post-apocalyptic pilots being made.

I saw Red Dawn this week and besides the updated story, the one thing that stood out is that the Wolverines reminded me of the Jericho Rangers. The ending of the movie was a Johnston-like speech to new recruits joining the cause. This movie had a Jericho like feeling that I felt was lacking in the original movie.

Jericho is still a relevant story and it is still influencing the genre! As long as this continues, Jericho has a good chance of returning. : )

Please note that JEBS will be on vacation until Feburary 2013. If we get any updates, we will send out a short announcement.

Operation Netflix Update

December 3, 2012

Hello Fellow Rangers,

Thank you to all the Rangers out there who have been spreading the word and engaging Netflix directly. As we are now in the middle of the holiday season we need to continue to be vigilant and do what we can over the next few weeks to let Netflix know we are here and Jericho needs to be put back on television.

We suggest that once or twice a week you support Jericho by contacting Netflix. There is a variety of ways to let your voice be heard and we encourage people to use whatever means fits their own individual style. Which ever way you chose to contact them, please try to do it every Tuesday and Thursday and encourage a friend or 2 as well. Consistent noise over the next several weeks especially during the holidays will make a significant impact with Netflix.
